Digital Noise
This is an ongoing work made during periods of high-stress sleeplessness. Perpetual connectivity leaves us unable to switch off. There is always more to do and more to consume and lights blinking lurid in the gloom. The internet and the screen through which we are tethered scream silent at arm's length. But instead of scrolling endless feeds of data, here the photographer stares back into the dark and thus consumer is temporarily consumed. What we see is darkness dragged into colour and an intimate space turned on its head.
